Joe Dye is a filmmaker based in NYC. He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2024 and is a recipient of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Gold Key. His work explores loneliness, obsession, and the absurdities of everyday life, blending genre with personal, character-driven stories. His short film Matilda CD premiered on NoBudge in 2022, and his latest film, Evicted, was produced as his senior thesis. Joe has interned at commercial production companies as well as the Safdie Brothers’ Elara Pictures, where he gained firsthand experience in independent filmmaking.
